Former Newark Academy (N.J.) point guard Dagny Slomack has transferred out of Central Connecticut State and committed to Division I University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) Women’s Basketball program, today she announced on X.
Slomack, a freshman, averaged 9.0 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game, while shooting 43.5 percent from the floor in 29 contests for the Blue Devils this past season.
In high school, the 5-foot-6 West Orange, N.J., native and standout player drained 1,450 points, dished out 330 assists, recorded 380 steals and grabbed 350 rebounds.
UMBC posted a 14-15 overall mark and went 7-9 in America East Conference (AEC) play in the 2024-25 college hoops campaign.
