Former Saint Peter’s and ex-Eagle Academy for Young Men II guard Jakai Sanders is transferring to Division I Le Moyne Men’s basketball program, recently he wrote on his Instagram account.
The 6-foot-3, 195-pound Brooklyn native averaged 2.4 points and 1.0 assists per game in 13 contests with the Peacocks this past year.
The Public School Athletic League (PSAL) named Sanders the Player of the Year as a senior at Eagle Academy II, where he averaged 17.14 points per game during the 2023-24 regular season. Additionally, he helped the Eagles capture the PSAL Boy’s championship that same year.
Also, Sanders drained over 1,000 points during his four-year high school career.
The Dolphins posted a 9-23 overall record and went 4-12 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
