Top 2026 Recruit Deron Rippey, Jr. Attracts Offer from Kentucky Hoops


One of the best 2026 college prospects’ recruiting is really heating up, as Blair Academy (N.J.) guard Deron Rippey, Jr. has received an offer from University of Kentucky Wildcats, today basketball media outlets wrote on X.

Additionally, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound Rippey holds offers from Wake Forest, Syracuse, Bryant, Stanford, Binghamton, LIU, Fordham, Hofstra, St. John’s, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, Villanova, George Washington, Illinois, among others, according to VerbalCommits.com.

The Brooklyn, New York, native drained 366 points, dished out 44 assists and collected 38 rebounds this past high school basketball season.

Rippey is the No. 18 overall national prospect in the rising senior class, according to National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Dushawn London.

The Wildcats posted a 24-12 overall record and went 10-8 in Southeastern Conference (SEC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
