Blair Academy (N.J.) class of 2026 point guard Deron Rippey, Jr. continues to stay on the recruiting trail, as he picked up a Division I offer from UCLA Men’s basketball program, today his father, Deron Sr., wrote on X.
The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Rippey Jr. holds offers from top D1 basketball programs such as Kentucky, St. John’s, Villanova, Georgia Tech, Texas A&M, among others, per sources.
The No. 18 overall national prospect in the rising senior class, and rising, according to National Basketball Recruiting Analyst Dushawn London, he had drained 366 points, dished out 44 assists, and collected 38 rebounds this past high school basketball season.
Rippey, a Brooklyn native and New Heights NYC member, is an explosive player who puts forth an even game, while scoring buckets. Look for this young, dynamic man to garner more offers and wins in the near future.
The Bruins posted a 23-11 overall record and went 13-7 in Big 10 Conference action in the 2024-25 campaign.
