Rising junior point guard Anastasia Bonfante of Morris Catholic Girl’s basketball team has earned a Division I offer from Siena Women’s basketball program, today she wrote on X.
The 5-foot-4 Bonfante, who also suits up for NY Gauchos 16U AAU squad, scored 127 points, grabbed 51 rebounds, and dished out 31 assists in 27 games this past girl’s basketball high school season.
Bonafante, a good outsider shooter, sports a high motor, which helps her be effective on both ends of the floor. She has also grown in her decision-making skills, making her more of a complete player when it comes to distributing the rock.
The Saints posted a 17-14 overall and went 14-6 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
