Class of 2026 Western Canada Prep (Edmonton, AB) forward Riak Chol has received an offer from Division I Long Island University (LIU) Brooklyn Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote via X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-6 Chol holds an offer from Colorado State, according to his X account. He also holds growing interest from Buffalo, St. Bonaventure, Seattle University UCSD, among other programs.
Some basketball scouts consider the dynamic, fearless baller, who is also suiting up for Good Hoops on the 3Stripes Select Basketball circuit this summer, one of Canada’s top rising prospects.
The Sharks posted a 17-16 overall record and went 12-4 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action this past season. It was a huge improvement over their previous 7-22 overall mark in 2024-23.
