Kamari Whyte Earns First Division I Offer from ECU Men’s Basketball


Kamari Whyte, a 2027 prospect out of New Heights NYC AAU and Vermont Academy Prep, has earned his first Division I offer from East Carolina University (ECU) Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote in X.

Whyte went off for 23 points, four rebounds, and two assists at Adidas’ 3Stripes Select Basketball circuit (3SSB) final 4 game before several high major programs–such as Memphis, Texas, Utah, UTEP, Fordham, Seton Hall, and California–in attendance, according to reports NYC Prospects.

Whyte previously attended St. Raymond’s High School in the Bronx.

The Pirates put up a 19-14 overall record and went 10-8 in American Athletic Conference (AAC) action in the 2024-25 campaign.
