Morris Catholic Standout Kennedy Brown to Join Manhattan Jaspers Women’s Basketball


Rising senior Kennedy Brown of Morris Catholic High School (N.J.) and Team Sharp AAU Carolina has verbally committed to Manhattan University Jaspers Women’s basketball program, today he announced via X.

Brown, a 5-foot-9 combo guard, also held offers from Sienna, Coppin State and Furman University, according to previous articles on NYNJSportsWorld.com.

Brown dropped in 167 points, grabbed 101 rebounds, and made 71 steals in 24 games this past season. More importantly, she helped powerhouse Morris Catholic go a perfect 28-0 and capture the New Jersey Girl’s High School Non-Pub A-North Sectional (back-to-back) title and finish first in the MaxPreps’ National Girl’s High School Championship rankings.

The Jaspers posted a 16-15 overall record and went 9-11 in MAAC action in the 2024-25 campaign.
