Class of 2028 Eagle’s Landing Christian Academy’s (ELCA/Ga.) A.J. Williams has received an offer from Division I Rutgers University Scarlet Knights Men’s basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-7, 210-pound combo guard currently holds several DI offers, including NC State, Memphis, LSU, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Auburn, Louisville, among other programs, per VerbalCommits.com.
Williams, a five-star player, also suits up for Georgia Stars AAU 15u squad, who captured their second consecutive Peach Jam Basketball Tournament. His average of 20.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals across eight games helped lead his team to the 2025 15U championship.
He was also part of the USA 15U gold medal-winning squad at the International Basketball Federation Association (FIBA) games earlier this summer.
Rutgers posted a 15-7 overall mark and went 8-12 in Big 10 Conference action in the 2024-25 campaign.
