Meet New York Baseball Legends: Darryl Strawberry and Chuck Knoblauch at New Jersey’s Woodbridge Brewing Co. in August

Darryl Strawberry, one of New York City’s favorite baseball players, will be making an appearance at Woodbridge Brewing Co. (33 Main Street) on Sunday, August 24th, at 2:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Strawberry, who played for the New York Mets and Yankees, will sign autographs, take photos and be part of a question-and-answer session for $69.00 per ticket, for the viewing party at the event.

Strawberry smacked 252 home runs with the Mets, second all-time in club history, as well as winning a World Series in 1986 with the team. Plus, he was the 1983 National League Rookie of the Year (ROY). He also captured World Series rings with the Yankees in 1996 and 1999.

In addition to Strawberry, former Yankee second baseman Chuck Knoblauch, who also suited up for the Minnesota Twins and Kansas City Royals, will be making an appearance (at 6:30 p.m.). It will cost fans $89.00 for a combo ticket (both players, $20.00 just for Knoblauch), which will include an autograph, photo opportunity, and a question-and-answer session.

Knoblauch won three World Series with the Yankees, as well the American League Rookie of the Year Award and a World Series ring with the Twins in 1991.

Q and A with Knoblauch is from 6:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., with signing from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
