Saddle River, Team Lightning’s Giada Celetti Earns Division III Basketball Offer from Allegheny

Saddle River Day School (N.J.) and Team Lightning Melious class of 2026 forward Giada Celetti has picked another offer from Division III Allegheny College Women’s basketball, today her AAU coach Dan Melious wrote on X.

Additionally, the 6-foot-1 New Yorker holds offers from Rend Lake College (JUCO), and Division III Meredith and Swarthmore, per previous articles.

Coming off excellent AAU seasons with the Lightning, Celetti’s length and overall size allows her to defend the paint well on both ends of the hardwood, while being a rebounding force.

The Gators posted a 21-8 overall mark and went 17-3 in Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) action and captured the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Women’s basketball championship in the 2024-25 campaign.
