Class of 2026 CATS Academy (Mass.) guard Desmond Bellot, Jr. has received an offer from Division I Fordham University Rams Men’s basketball program, he recently wrote on X.
In addition to the Rams’ offer, the 6-foot-3 combo guard/point guard holds offers from Umass Lowell, Richmond, Siena, San Diego, Mass Lowell, Bryant, among other programs, per VerbalCommits.com.
An impressive shooter, Bellot, who suited up for Expressions Elite, rated in the top five at the Elite Youth Basketball League’s (EYBL) Peach Jam Tournament three-point percentage at 45.7 percent, according to his X account. He is also an excellent defender.
Fordham posted a a 12-21 mark and went 3-15 in Atlantic 10 Conference action in the 2024-25 season.
