Iverson Plaza, formerly of Jamestown Community College (JUCO/N.Y.), has verbally committed to NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) Webber International University Men’s basketball program, today he announced on X.
The 5-foot-9 sophomore guard from Brooklyn, N.Y., averaged 8.9 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game, while shooting 30.3 percent from beyond the arc with the Warriors in the 2024-25 campaign.
Before committing to college, Plaza played high school basketball at Trinity Pawling School in Upstate, N.Y., and first attended George Westinghouse High School in New York City.
Webber put up a 6-21 overall record and went 2-13 in Sun Belt Conference (SBC) play this past season.
