Former New York Mets player and current Chicago Dogs’ Chance Sisco has captured the American Assocation’s Catcher of the Year award, today the MLB partner league announced on Instagram.
Sisco, 30, enjoyed a solid year behind the plate with the Dogs, slugging .298 with 17 longballs and 61 RBI in 339 at-bats in 94 games this season.
With the Mets, Sisco picked up a double, an RBI, a walk, and a run scored in nine at-bats in five contests in 2021.
He also appeared in MLB with the Baltimore Orioles, hitting 16 home runs and 53 RBI in part of five seasons (2017-21) with the team.
