Albany and LIU Brooklyn Men’s basketball programs have offered 2027 CIA Bella Vista (Az.) and UPLAY Canada forward Settimo Yugu, yesterday he wrote on X.
The above programs were the first two Division I offers for the 6-foot-8, 175-pound Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, native, according to his X account.
Yugu is a strong outside shooter who can also play with his back to the hoop and score off balance. But he is also an excellent defensive player who has a knack for getting into lanes and making steals.
The LIU Sharks posted a 17-16 overall record and went 12-4 in Northeast Conference (NEC) action this past season. It was a huge improvement over their previous 7-22 overall mark in 2024-23.
