Class of 2026 IMG Academy (Fla.) forward Aziz Olajuwon, son of NBA Hall of Famer Hakeem Olajuwon, has committed to Division I Stanford University Men’s basketball program, yesterday basketball media outlets announced via X.
Also, the 6-foot-7, 207-pound Olajuwon, a four-star recruit, held offers from UCF, Virginia, Houston, Xavier, Vanderbilt, Oklahoma, among other programs, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Olajuwon–who has a sister, Abi Olajuwon, who suited up in the WNBA and overseas–is a top 40 recruit in the Sports Center Next 100, and the No. 61 overall prospect in the class of 2026, per sources.
In 19 games on the EYBL Circuit with JL3 Elite, he averaged 14.5 points, 1.7 assists and 6.0 rebounds per game while shooting 41 percent from three-point land.
Standford University posted a 21-14 overall record and went 11-9 in Atlantic Coast Conference action in the 2024-25 campaign.
