Class of 2026 Kayden D. Allen of Long Island Lutheran High School (LuHi/N.Y.) has verbally committed to Division I Cincinnati Bearcats Men’s basketball program, today it was announced on social media via a video message from his school as he unzipped his warmup jacket that revealed his choice.
The four-star combo guard held several offers from top college hoop programs across the nation including Seton Hall, FSU, LSU, Mississippi State, Houston, Louisville, UCF, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, Georgia, Georgia State, among other teams, per multiple online reports.
Allen, a can-do-it-all type of player who can single-handily take over games, previously suited up for powerhouse Montverde Academy in Montverde, Florida.
The Bearcats posted a 19-16 overall record and went 7-13 in Big 12 Conference play in the 2024-25 season.
