Class of 2027 Sunrise Christian Academy (Kan.) guard Avery Moses has received offers from University of Texas Arlington and Iona University Men’s Division I basketball programs, he recently wrote on X.
It was the first two D1 offers for the 6-foot-5 Fort Worth, Texas, native.
Moses, who also suits up for Southern Assault 3SSB, is skilled at creating space and shots for himself at the mid-range level. Plus, he is adept at firing and sinking the ball from a distance and finishing around the basket.
On defense, Moses is a disrupter, making it difficult for the offensive player to advance the ball. He is also a versatile defender, guarding multiple positions well.
The Gaels posted a 17-17 overall record and went 12-8 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play in the 2024-25 year.
