Shooting Star Adam Oumiddoch to Join St. John’s Basketball for 2026-27 Season

Class of 2026 Overtime Elite League (OEL/Ga.) guard Adam Oumiddoch has committed to Rick Pitino and Division I St. John’s University’s Men’s basketball program, today basketball media outlets and his hoops association announced on X.

A top national prospect in his class, the 6-foot-6, 175-pound shooting guard also held offers from Rutgers, USC, Iowa, Oklahoma State, South Florida, Pittsburgh, Creighton, Virginia Tech, LSU, among other college basketball programs, per VerbalCommits.com.

Oumiddoch is a proven scorer–averaging 31.0 per game for Overtime Elite’s Cold Hearts so far this season–who is evasive with the rock, especially off the dribble, and can finish like nobody’s business, according to scouts.

It is the Jonnies’ first piece for the 2026-27 campaign.

The Red Storm is 1-1 thus far this season and will host William & Mary Saturday at 6:00 p.m.at Carnesecca Arena.
