Ty Newsom Receives Division I Offer from William & Mary Basketball

Class of 2027 St. Luke’s High School (Ct.) guard Ty Newsom has received an offer from Division I College William & Mary basketball program, yesterday he wrote on X.

Additionally, the 6-foot-5 Monroe, Ct., native–who also plays for the NY Lightning AAU squad–holds offers from Boston University, Northeastern, Sacred Heart, Quinnipiac, Lafayette, and Siena, per VerbalCommits.com.

Newson is a proven scorer, as he had eclipsed the 1,000-point high school scoring mark last season, using his hardwood ability and length to soar way above the rim to record several buckets and grab rebounds.

The Tribe is off to a 4-2 start and will travel to UTEP Monday at 4:00 p.m.
