Chatham High School (N.J.) senior point guard Ryan Leach yesterday announced that he has verbally committed to Division III Kenyon College Men’s basketball, according to his Instagram post.
Leach, who owns a high motor, dropped in 210 points in 26 games played last season.
In addition to his sweet scoring touch and relentless, hard-working effort, Leach sports a slick handle, very good court vision, and plays above his height every time he hits the hardwood.
The Cougars posted a 20-8 record and went all the way to the quarterfinal round of the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) Boy’s Basketball North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 basketball tournament, losing 57-54 to a stacked Colonia squad last campaign.
The Owls are 5-3 so far this year, and will host Earlham Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
