PSAL Boy’s Basketball Highlights: Eagle Academy Dominates in Brooklyn, While Francis Routs Campus Magnet


Public School Athletic League (PSAL) Boy’s is really hitting a fever pitch all over the Big Apple, as hardwood heat took place in Brooklyn and Queens on Saturday.

Here is how some of the action shook out.

Eagle Academy For Young Men II Vs. Canarsie

Sophomore Lee Murhion Robinson scored a game-best 24 points, as he paced the Eagle Academy For Young Men II (Brooklyn, N.Y.), 68-47, over host Canarsie (5-3) Saturday in PSAL Division 4A — Brooklyn/Staten Island- I boy’s basketball action.

Robinson added eight rebounds, while senior Hunter Frazier contributed a double-double of 12 points and 11 boards in the Eagles’ (8-0) victory.

Junior Christian Marbury dropped in 12 points, and senior Devin Clarke chipped in with 10 points and grabbed six rebounds in defeat.

Francis Lewis High School Vs. Campus Magnet

Junior Jonathan Walker and senior Richard Richmond combined to score 32 points for Francis Lewis (Queens, N.Y.) as it dropped Campus Magnet, 67-47, Saturday at home.

Freshman Zaire Donegan poured in 13 points for the Patriots (7-2), while freshman Isaiah Miller added eight points and 10 boards in the win over the Bulldogs (3-7).
