Morris Catholic’s Austin Workman Picks Up First D1 Basketball Offer from FIU


Class of 2026 Morris Catholic High School (N.J.) guard Austin Workman has received an offer from Florida International University (FIU) Men’s basketball, his first Division I offer to date.

In addition to Workman’s FIU offer, the 6-foot-5, 205-pound New Jersey native holds several from D2 schools such as Holy Family, West Chester, Caldwell, St. Thomas Aquinas, Felician, and Goldey Beacom, per VerbalCommits.com.

Also, Workman scored his 1,000-career high school basketball point recently this month.

FIU is currently 9-7 and will travel to Kennesaw State tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. for a Conference USA (C-USA) game.
