Class of 2026 Long Island Lutheran High School (Luhi/N.Y.) guard Dylan Mingo, one of the top college prospects in the nation, has committed to Division I North Carolina Men’s basketball program, today basketball media outlets reported on X,
The 6-foot-3, 175 pound four-and-half-star recruit held offers from multiple colleges including Syracuse, St. John’s, Ole Miss., Providence, Florida State, USC, among other programs, per media reports.
While Mingo has missed significant amount of time due to an injury this season, his impressive summer with the PSA Cardinals on the Nike EYBL Circuit — where averaged 19.3 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.3 steals per game — seems to have been enough for the Tarheels.
The Tar Heels are 20-5, and will travel to NC State today at 7:00 p.m.
