The Brooklyn Football Club (Brooklyn FC) Men’s team today announced that it has signed winger Pierre Da Silva for the 2026 USL Championship campaign, pending league and federation approval.
Da Silva last played with Peruvian Liga 1 club Cusco FC, where he made 31 appearances with two goals and one assist this past season.
Brooklyn FC head coach Marlon LeBlanc said that Da Silva is a welcome addition to the team, and his vast experience and aggressive style will be a plus for the club as it looks to chase a title.
“We’re excited to bring Pierre into the group,” LeBlanc said in a press release. “He brings a direct attacking profile and valuable experience from different leagues and environments. He’s played meaningful minutes everywhere he’s gone, and we like his confidence in wide areas and his willingness to make things happen.”
In 2024, Da Silva joined Peruvian side Universidad Cesar Vallejo.
A native of Port Chester, New York, Da Silva debuted in the professional ranks with Orlando City B in 2016. His performances earned him a promotion to Orlando City SC’s senior team in January 2017.
He spent several seasons on loan, featuring for Saint Louis FC and Brazil’s Athletico Paranaense. In 2019, Da Silva inked with USL Championship side Memphis 901 FC, later going on to suited up for Miami FC and Forward Madison FC.
On the youth international level, Da Silva has played for the stars and stripes more than 30 times, including featuring at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
Brooklyn FC Men’s inaugural match in the USL Championship is on Sunday, March 8, against Indy Eleven. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. at Maimonides Park, along the seashores of Coney Island, Brooklyn.
