Gerardo Guerrero Receives First D1 Offer from Rider University Men’s Basketball

Class of 2026 shooting guard Gerardo Guerrero of College of Southern Idaho (JUCO) has picked up his first division offer from D1 Rider University Men’s basketball program, today he wrote on X.

The 6-foot-3, 185-pound Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico native red-shirted this past season. But Guerrero averaged 6.3 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game in 12 contests as a freshman.

College of Southern Utah has described Guerreo as “a shot-maker and winner.”

Furthermore, he owns a sweet outside stroke and will do the little things to help his team earn the victory.

The Broncs posted a 4-25 record and went 3-17 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) this past season.
