After just a short time training and competing as an independent professional wrestler, Nikki Blackheart turned heads at February tryouts, as she joined NXT’s latest rookie class as Nicole Martinez, her real name.

“My heart is overflowing with gratitude. You’re looking the first female Dominican wrestler to sign with the WWE,” Martinez wrote on X.” Let’s go.”
Martinez, a 29-year-old edgy competitor, won her dark match debut before the May 20 NXT episode.
Ex-WWE wrestler Gangrel trained Martinez–who is a powerhouse with the charisma, charm, and looks to match–hails from Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, according to X.
She is sure to shake up the NXT Women’s division, just in time for a sizzling summer of high-octane action.
