Hobert, who also plays ice hockey for Morristown, will hold a roster spot for Andrew Summa for the 2027-28 campaign.
The 5-foot-9, 174-pound left-handed senior pitcher/first baseman put up a 3.23 ERA with 14 strikeouts in 8.3 innings of work with the Colonials in 2026.
The Statesmen posted a 32-15 overall record and went 11-5 in Liberty League Conference action in the 2025-26 year.
