Rúben Prey, a 6-foot-10, four-star 19-year-old forward from Joventut Badalona (ESP), has committed to St. John's University Men's basketball program. His signing completes the team's roster for the 2024-25 season, as announced by sports media outlets.
Keiner Asprilla, a 7-foot, 230-pound player from Don Bosco Prep, has received offers from Seton Hall and Villanova basketball programs. He has eight D-1 offers and has received attention from Pittsburgh and Iowa. Asprilla had an impressive 2023-24 season with 275 points, 99 rebounds, and 21 blocks for the Ironmen.
Former Providence College guard Garwey Dual is transferring to Seton Hall Men's basketball program. The 6-foot-5, 190-pound Dual, a college sophomore, recorded 3.3 points, 1.3 rebounds per game as a freshman. Dual transferred after three years at Carmel High School (Ind.), averaging 16.0 points, 7.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game. The Friars had a 21-14 overall record and went 10-10 in Big East Conference in the 2023-24 season.
Taylor averaged 4.4 points and 2.2 rebounds per game, as well as seven blocks and 25 steals this past season with the Red Storm. He also shot 44.9 percent from the floor and 42.4 percent from long-range.
The soon-to-be grad transfer and Brooklyn native averaged 9.5 points 6.9 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks per game for the Red Storm this past season.
The 6-foot-6, 215-pound Minneapolis, Minnesota, native averaged 4.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game in 35 contests as a sophomore with Boston College.
Van Raaphorst, a Chatham, N.J., native, led the Green Wave with 428 points (15.9 points per game) and 133 rebounds in 27 contests in the 2023-24 campaign.

Additionally, the 6-foot-3, 175-pound Mingo holds offers from Virginia Tech and Washington.
The 6-foot-3 rising sophomore and White Plains, N.Y., native plays above his young age of 15, and several high school hoop insiders believe he possesses a high celling.
