St. John’s University Men’s Basketball Program Adds Portuguese Big Man Rúben Prey

Class of 2024 Joventut Badalona (ESP) forward Rúben Prey has committed to Division I St. John’s University Men’s (N.Y.) basketball program, yesterday several sports media outlets announced on X.

Rúben Prey lands with St. John’s University Men’s basketball program.

Prey is a 6-foot-10, four-star, 19-year-old Portuguese player who suited up for the Spanish club before committing to the Red Storm program. The Prey signing completes St. John’s roster for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

The Red Storm posted a 20-13 mark and went 11-9 in Big East Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
