Indian River State (FL) guard Tanahj Pettway has received an offer from Stony Brook Men’s program, he tweeted during the week.
Pettway, a 6-foot-2 sophomore, averaged 12.3 points, three rebounds, and three assists per game in 26 contests last season as a freshman. The Worcester, MA, native also attended Putnam Science Academy’s (CT) national powerhouse high school basketball program.
The Pioneers posted a 22-8 mark and went 11-1 in the Southern Conference of the Florida State College Activities Association, a body of the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 8, in the 2019-20 campaign.
The Sea Wolves recorded a 20-13 record and went 10-6 in America East Conference action last year.
