St. Peter’s Hoops Offers Hercum’s Yazid Powell

Harcum College (Penn) guard Yazid Powell has received an offer from Division I St. Peter’s (N.J.) Men’s Basketball, yesterday he Tweeted.

Powell, who attended Olympus Preparatory Academy in N.J., owns nine offers now.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound Philly native also holds offers from North Carolina A&T, New Mexico State, Weber State, Florida International, UMBC, Jacksonville, Morgan State, and Northern Illinois.

Harcum posted an impressive 17-1 overall record last season. The Bears hoops team is the only NJCAA Division I men’s basketball program in Pennsylvania and NJCAA Region XIX.

The Peacocks put up a 14-11 record and went 10-8 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in the 2020-21 campaign.
