Backcourt Twins, Mia and Mya Pauldo, Stay Hot on Recruiting Trail with Virginia Hoops Offers

Mia and Mya J. Pauldo, otherwise know as Twin Backcourt, of Morris Catholic and NJ Sparks 16U squad have received scholarship offers from the Virginia Cavaliers Women’s Basketball program, today the Denville, N.J. high school hoops team Tweeted.

Mia and Mya Pauldo pick up Virginia Women’s Hoops Offers.

The Virginia offer was among several (18 or so, per reports) for the Pauldo Twins, and that’s nothing short of remarkable since they have yet to play a high school game.

However, that should not be an issue this upcoming high school girl’s season, as the 5-foot-7 duo have been battling top, older players most of their competitive lives.

The Twins are no doubt a lethal combination, arguably the best pair of guards in their 2025 class in the Garden State, if not the nation.

While they are identical twins and own somewhat similar type of styles, they do possess abilities that distinguish who they are on the hardwood.

Mia, who has recovered from a recent ankle injury, owns excellent ball-handling and general-like abilities that lend her to lead on the court, move the ball up, and break a press when needed.

Additionally, she is a sniper, with the skill to knock down shots from long range.

On the contrary, Mya’s versatility allows her to front different guard positions or suit up at the forward slot.

When it comes to rebounding and passing, both girls perform those disciplines well. Plus, their focus and determination is unmatched.

The Cavaliers posted a 0-5 overall record and 0-2 in Atlantic Coast Conference action during the 2020-21 truncated season.
