Wagner HS’s Nicole Melious Breaks 1000-point Mark with 57 in Win Over Lab Musuem

Nicole Melious walked into Susan Wagner’s PSAL A non-league season tipoff game Sunday versus Lab Musuem United with 946 career high school points, on the verge of surpassing the 1000-point milestone early in the season.

But after erupting for 57 points, Melious now has 1003 points. In the process, Wagner beat the Gators, 96-47, and the junior shooting guard broke the Staten Island high school single-game record for points.

What’s next for the Staten Island native? 2000 points? That is not completely out the realm of possibility for the talented Georgia Tech commit.

One thing is for sure, though: Melious and Falcons will contend for PSAL A Championship.
