Before Cushing Academy, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound Jackson attended Albany Academy, in Upstate N.Y., where the then-senior averaged 27.9 points, eight rebounds, 9.2 assists and 5.7 steals per game, according to a source.
Jackson–an Amsterdam. N.Y., native–also played for the Albany City Rocks AAU hoops program.
Marcus has an older brother and former teammate at Albany Academy, Andre, who recently finished his sophomore year on UConn’s basketball squad.
Albany posted a 13-18Â overall record and went 9-9 in American East Conference (AEC) this past season.
