Blair Academy’s Ian Imegwu Earns 1st D1 Hoops Offer

2023 Blair Academy (N.J.) forward Ian Imegwu has received an offer from Rider University Men’s basketball program, today he Tweeted.

Ian Imegwu picks up first D1 College Hoops offer.

The Rider hoops offer is the first for the 6-foot-9 Imegwu, per VebalCommits.com. He scored 57 points for the Buccaneers in the 2021-22 campaign.

Blair Head Coach Joe Mantegna Tweeted that he has been receiving a lot from calls and texts from all D1 conferences for his 2023 players, including Imegwu, who has been enjoying a solid AAU season.

Rider posted a 14-19 mark and went 8-12 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Assocation Conference this past season.
