Class of 2024 Long Island Lutheran (N.Y.) guard V.J. Edgecombe has received an offer from Division I Mississippi State Men’s basketball program, yesterday Andrew Slater Tweeted.

The Bulldogs’ offer is the first for the 6-foot-5 Bahamas native, per source.

Edgecombe shined on the hardwood with the South Florida Kings this past AAU season.

Mississippi State posted a 18-16 mark and went 8-10 in Southeast Conference (SEC) action in 2021-22.

Mississippi State kickoffs the 2022-23 campaign on Thursday, November 17th at the Fort Myers Tipoff Reginal Round versus South Dakota in Starkville, Miss.
