In the process, the guard shattered her single season New York State scoring record with 1056 points, which she established last year with 1046 poinrs. Melious’ 2022-23 campaign averages currently sit at 44 points, 12.8 rebounds and 8.5 helpers per tilt.
Junior Jordanna Schrecker dropped in a team-high 26 points for New Dorp.
The Falcons improved to 22-2, while the Central Cougars dropped to 15-10.
