Immaculate Conception High School (Montclair) and Team Sharp 15U rising sophomore Jayah Curtis has been offered by Division I University of Delaware Women’s basketball program, today she Tweeted.
Curtis also holds an offer from North Carolina A&T.
The 5-foot-9 combo guard, who scored 55 points in 17 games in her high school freshman season, is athletic with a tremendous upside due to her youth. At a young age, she already owns a well-rounded game. Curtis can shoot well from a long range, scores with both hands, plays a solid defense, and is not afraid to attack the hoop in traffic when the opportunity arises.
The Blue Hens posted a 16-14 overall record and went 9-9 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) Conference.
