St. John’s Hoops Lands Commitment from Tennesse Transfer, Brooklyn Native Chris Ledlum

After decommitting from Tennessee, today forward Chris Ledlum is transferring to Division I St. John’s University Men’s basketball program, according to Tobias Bass of the Atlantic.

Chris Ledlum is heading to Queens to attend St. John’s University.

Ledlum, who did not play a game for the Volunteers and hails from Brooklyn, will be a welcome addition to the Red Strom, as he averaged 18.8 points, 8.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game last season at Harvard University basketball. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-6, 225-pound Northfield Mount Hermon School (Mass.) product was the 2019 Massachusetts Gatorade player of the Year. Ledlum also suited up for St. Peter’s High School in Staten Island.

The Red Storm posted an 18-15 overall record and went 7-13 in Big East Conference action in the 2022-23 campaign.
