Class of 2024 Eastside High School (S.C.) guard Justin Ray has received an offer Division I Monmouth University Hawks (N.J.) Men’s basketball program, today he announced via X.
In addition to the Hawks’ offer, the 6-foot-3 Ray, who also plays for Upward Stars 3SSB, holds offers from USC Upstate, Western Carolina and Wolford, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Ray is primed for a big senior high school season, as he sports vicious ankle-breaking moves that makes him hard to defend, allowing him to shoot and score while moving to the basketball or fading away from the hoop.
Monmouth posted a 7-26 overall record and went 5-13 Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) action in the 2022-23 campaign.
