Northwest Florida State (JUCO) Men’s Basketball’s Tajuan Simpkins had landed offers from North Carolina Central and Hofstra University hoops programs, he recently said on X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-4, 175-pound Brooklyn native holds offers from Nothern Illinois, Radford, Northwestern State, Cal State Bakersfield and Eastern Kentucky, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Simpkins, a red-shirted freshman who attended Liberty Heights Athletic Institute in Texas, has averaged 14.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 10 contests thus far this campaign.
The NCC Eagles are off to a 4-5 start and will square off against host Virginia Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
