Monmouth University sophomore guard Gabe Spinelli yesterday had entered the transfer portal, per VerbalCommits.com.
Spinelli, who attended the Darrow School (N.Y.), played in 10 contests, averaging 1.9 points per game for the Hawks in the 2023-24 campaign.
The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Spinelli competed in one season of basketball at Evansville of the Missouri Valley Conference, where he averaged 4.6 points, 1.6 rebounds and one assist per game.
Spinelli is a graduate of Watertown High School (Connecticut) in 2021.
The Hawks posted an 18-15 record and went 10-8 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) this past season.
