Zed Key, a former Ohio State 6-foot-8 forward, has committed to Dayton University Men’s basketball program after entering the transfer portal early this month, today he announced via X.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Key is a graduate transfer who averaged 6.6 points per game and was fifth on the team in rebounding at 4.1 boards per contests for the Buckeyes in the 2023-24 season. He also rejected 23 shots, which placed him third on Ohio State.
Key suited up for the national ranked Long Island Lutheran High School (LuHi/N.Y.) boy’s basketball squad, where he led the Crusaders in scoring average (18 points) and rebounding (8.7) in the 2019-20 year. He also proved a defensive force, blocking two shots per contests.
The Flyers posted a 25-8 mark and went 14-4 Atlantic 10 Conference play in the 2023-24 campaign.
