Dirty Birds Ink Former New York Yankee Clint Frazier


The Charleston Dirty Birds of the Atlantic League have signed ex-New York Yankee outfielder Clint Frazier, today the team announced on X.

Frazier, 29, spent part of 2023 with the Chicago White Sox, playing in 33 games.

A first-round selection of the Clevland Indians in the 2013 MLB Draft, Fraizer’s best season with the Yankees came in 2019, when he batted .267 with 12 home runs and 38 RBI in 225 at-bats in 69 contests.

Frazier spent parts of seven campaigns in MLB, playing for the Yankees, White Sox and Chicago Cubs.

Fraizer came over in the deal in which New York traded left-handed pitcher Andrew Miller to the Indians for himself, righties Ben Heller and J.P. Feyereisen, and lefty Justus Sheffield on July 31st, 2016.
