Class of 2024 Indian Hills Community College (Ind.) guard Kheni Briggs has committed to Division I Albany Men’s basketball program.
Briggs, a freshman qualifier, averaged 10.7 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game in 32 contests played with the Warriors in the 2023-24 campaign. He also shot 42.0 percent from the field and made 32.8 percent from behind the arc.
As his stats indicate, the 6-foot-3, 201-pound Briggs is an elite shooter. He is also a lockdown defender, filling two needs for the Great Danes for the upcoming 2024-25 season.
He previously attended Charleston Southern University. Before that, Briggs attended The Burlington School in Burlington, North Carolina, where he eclipsed 1,800 points during his prep career.
Albany posted 13-19 overall record and went 5-11 in Colonial Athletic Assocation (CAA) conference action this past year.
