Monsignor McClancy (Queens, N.Y.) senior combo guard Daniella Velez has committed to Division I Presbyterian College Women’s Basketball program, today her high school announced on X.
The five-foot Queens native enjoyed a fanatic season, using her speed and ball handling skills to blow by defenders, get to hoop and score on the regular. Also, she is an excellent long-range shooter, and sports an impressive tear drop shot to shoot over taller opponents.
The Blue Hose posted a 21-15 record and went 8-8 in Big South Conference (SCC) action in the 2023-24 campaign.
