Class of 2026 Roselle Catholic High School (N.J.) and New York Rennaissance guard Ethan Mgbako yesterday had received an offer from Division I West Virginia Men’s basketball program, per reports on X.
In addition to the West Virginia offer, the 6-foot-6, 215-pound Somerset, N.J., native holds D-1 offers from George Washington and Kent State, according to VerbalCommits.com.
Mgbako averaged 22.2 points and 5.2 boards per game in Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL) Kansas City with the Rens.
Mgbako dropped in a team-best 383 points, grabbed 106 rebounds and made 44 steals in 25 contests played for the Lions in the 2023-24 season.
The Mountaineers posted a 9-23 overall record and went 4-14 in Big 12 Conference action in the 2023-24 campaign.
