Class of 2026 point guard Imahri Wooten–a Troy, N.Y., native–has been garnering offer after offer, with Division I Penn State University Men’s basketball program tossing its collective hat in the recruiting ring, today he wrote X.
Additionally, the 6-foot-5, 185-pound Putnam Science Academy (Ct.) standout holds offers from Arizona State, St, John’s, Old Dominion, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, Syracuse, Auburn, Missouri, Mississippi State, Wichita State, St. Bonaventure, NJIT, Albany, Bryant, IUPUI, among other schools, per VerbalCommitts.com.
Wooten attended Redemption Christian Academy in Troy N.Y., before transferring to Putnam Science.
The Nittany Lions posted a 16-17 mark and went 9-11 in Big 10 Conference action this past season.
