NY Combo Guard Claire Fitzpatrick Garners Chicago State Women’s Basketball Offer

St. Mary’s High School (N.Y.) and Team Lightning Melious’ combo guard Claire Fitzpatrick has earned a Division I Chicago State University Women’s basketball program, yesterday Lightning head coach Dan Melious wrote on X.

The 6-foot Fitzpatrick also holds offers from National Assocation Intercollegiate Assocation (NAIA) Coastal Georgia and D-2 Pace University, according to her X account.

Fitzpatrick has steadily improved, making her mark this past AAU season, as she rebounded, passed and shot extremely well for Team Lightning.

The Cougars posted a 1-26 overall record in the 2023-24 campaign.
